I appreciate the follow up; I throughly enjoyed our driver Candy and I would absolutely book with your company again. He provided us with a guided tour of the island as we drove to Ladera and we felt very safe. The vehicle was in prestine condition, very clean and even had tinted windows and AC. It made my wife and I feel very safe.
 
We had to stop at a bank to withdraw money and he stayed with us the entire time. I could go on and on but to sum it up--it was wonderful and I wish more people knew about this service. St. Lucia had very expensive taxi services, especially through resorts but on the other side of the coin, a tourist does not know who to trust. It provides you with peice of mind to have someone waiting for you (at the airport) and even have a code to ensure the appropriate driver has been assigned.


Overall, we had a wonderful experience and looking forward to coming back to St. Lucia. I will seriously consider booking a tour next time.

Hey Janus,

We all are back home here in Canada after a wonderful and relaxing vacation. It was great to see Winson was our driver again on the return trip to the airport.   He was very polite and punctual. He arrived 20 minutes before our arranged pick up time and gladly waited for us to finish our departing drinks.  Furthermore, as you are aware we were traveling with a 10 month old infant and despite the narrow, twisty and in some areas washed out roads we felt very safe with Winson at the helm.

We'd like also thank you / the drivers for the three nice and safe transfers / tour your drivers gave us.
We enjoyed wery much during the transfers watching and beautiful sceneries and feeling curvy / hilly landscape (we may have seemed rather reticent compared to e.g. Americans, but Finns usually are rather silent and do not very much show enthusiasm).

St. Lucia was also a very positive new acquaintance. As said, the landscape was beautiful combination of forests and mountains (Finland is also covered mainly by forests and lakes, but landscape is not mountain-like). Most of all we liked friendliness of the people, sufficiently but not too much relaxed atmosphere and authenticity overall - i.e. the atmosphere is not spoiled by excessive tourism, commercialism and related fuzz.

Hopefully we would return some day on vacation on St. Lucia.

My husband and I had a great trip when we went to St. Lucia in the middle of August 2011.  We arranged a pick up from the airport with your company.  Sammy was our driver.  He drove us to our hotel and along the way pointed out some of the interesting things that were going on in St. Lucia for the upcoming week.  Sammy was very friendly, accomodating, courteous and knowledgeable.  He made us feel so welcome! When we requested how we could sample some of the local food, he brought us to places along the way where we had baked bread, fruits and some of the best fish ever!

Later we were so pleased that we booked a full day tour with Sammy.  He took us to many places of interest which was capped off with the delicious taste of sugar apples.  Thanks to Sammy we were able to discover the joys and pleasures that are St. Lucia.

We arranged our return transfers between Hewanorra International airport and the Morgan Almond Bay Resort through St. Lucia Airport Shuttle prior to leaving the UK.  What a great pleasure it was to deal with this company.  Everything was quickly arranged through email and when we arrived at the airport our driver Dane was waiting for us.

Dane took charge of our luggage and led us to a four door air-conditioned car and provided us with welcome bottles of ice cold water in the way of refreshment.  The journey to our resort was at a nice safe leisurely pace, during which Dane gave us a history of the island and pointed out all the interesting sights along the way and offering us opportunities to stop and take photographs.  What a wonderful way to start our stay in St Lucia.

On the return journey, the car arrived in plenty of time to get us to the airport and we had the privilege of being driven by Janus himself who was very informative about St Lucia and keen to personally do what he could to ensure we enjoyed our holiday, he was happy to stop for photographs on the way and to answer any further questions we had and made sure that we knew exactly where to go at the airport.  He was a proper gentleman. Transfers to and from the airport by private car were excellent value for money and the drivers were wonderful, really nice friendly guys, nothing was too much trouble.

We arranged a private tour of the island through Real St Lucia Tours and were looked after extremely well by our driver Aldan.  The tour lasted about 6 hours at a very safe and leisurely pace, we felt completely safe at all times.  The Island tour is an absolute must to be able to truly experience all that St Lucia has to offer, including the wonderful people. 

We visited all the sights including the very picturesque Marigot Bay, Anse La Raye, the rain forest, Soufriere and the Pitons, the botanic gardens, spicy island rum and sampling at the rum factory, the volcanic crater and throughout the tour Aldan was very informative giving us lots of information about the island, past and present. 

We had lots road side stops to take pictures, sampled some of the freshly baked local bread, coconut water and coconut flesh.  He took us to an authentic St Lucian restaurant in the suburbs of Soufriere where we were able to have a Creole meal which was excellent value for money.  Aldan was very proud of being a St Lucian and of St Lucia, we got to see some spectacular scenery and learn facts that we otherwise would not have known, he even shared his jokes with us, some of which were terrible!!!! 

We would thoroughly recommend Janus and Real St Lucia Tours to anybody visiting the island.

Our driver, David, was exceptional and went above and beyond as tour guide and ambassador for St. Lucia history, knowledge and tourism. His driving was exceptional as he delivered us to and from the airport along both the east and west island coasts. We also thank him for taking care of us on Easter and foregoing time with his family.
 
The cost for the service was below that which other business associates paid for the same travel from airport to Rodney Bay.

Sammy arrived early to the resort, which was much appreciated.  On our way to the airport, he gave us a tremendous tour and history lesson of the island, stopping along the way to let us sample fresh fruits and scenic stops for taking pictures.  He was the best driver we have ever experienced on any trip.  He is an excellent ambassador for your island.  We tipped him with the remaining cash we had, but he deserved more.

My husband and I were taking a trip to St Lucia and so I wanted to do my research of the best tour companies before I went. I was so lucky to find Janus and the Real Tours group.  Working We had a wonderful tour guide, Danny, pick us up from the airport when we landed in St Lucia.  From the minute we got in the van he began to give us a "mini tour" of the island.  He described everything we saw and even stopped for pictures on the way to the hotel.  We weren't expecting that!  hen we talked to other people at the hotel they said that their taxi ride was horrible-the driver was too fast and didn't talk the whole time.  Not us!  We even decided on our airport shuttle to do a city tour with Danny because he was so great.   Danny picked us up from our hotel and we had the best day there.  Danny took us all over the city-describing everything as we went.  He was open to us spending as less or as much time as we wanted at each stop.  We felt no pressure to do anything!  Danny treated us with local foods and drinks that we wouldn't have experienced on our own.  That was one of our favorite days on the Island.  We were so impressed we wanted Danny to do our airport shuttle on the way home too.    It was a great vacation and I will recommend you all to everyone I know traveling to St Lucia!!!!  Thanks again,

Thanks for your company's shuttle services.  Winbert (?) picked us up from the airport on June 2nd, and Sammie dropped us off at the airport on June 6th.  Sammie was EXCELLENT!!  He was full of knowledge, talked to us the whole time, stopped to show us things on the side of the road, and even bought us a bag of fresh cashews.

We found our driver just as you indicated we would.  He was very polite, a little soft-spoken and he drove us safely to our resort.  

He asked if we preferred AC or the windows down.  We selected feeling the island air
- no AC.  With this, we found it very hard to hear and understand our driver.

He did point out a few things along our ride, stopped twice for pictures and stopped at a grocery store when I asked where the store was located.  Again, very polite gentleman just not very talkative and
very soft spoken.

Everything was perfect.  I had no trouble finding my driver at the airport, and on the return trip he was at the hotel 15 mintues early.  They drove well, and were very polite.  They answered my questions about the island.  A great experience, not one complaint....

Janus - hi. The transfer worked really well and it was SO nice to have someone meet us at the airport even though we were 5 hours late arriving. And providing us each with a bottle of mineral water was a great touch!

Airport Transfer

We recently used St. Lucia Airport Shuttle to take us to the UVF Airoport 22nd June and back again June 29. We wanted to write to say thank you for the truly professional and friendly service your company and our driver Ian provided. My husband and I had been to St. Lucia before and had arrived through the airport to the north of the island (SLU). We learned from the other guests at our resort that booking with an outside taxi from the airport would be a lot cheaper. We booked our hotel transfer with St Lucia Airport Shuttle for our American Airlines flight scheduled to arrive at 1330. We both were a bit skeptical about the decision at first, but we could not of made a better choice, our St Lucia airport shuttle driver picked us up at the airport and was on time.

What’s even better is the fact that we were welcomed with mineral water, which you could really need after an 8 hour flight. Our shuttle bus was air conditioned and comfortable, we felt very safe with our taxi driver Ian who told us quite a lot about St Lucia before we arrived at our resort. I found Janus on their site and gave him a call. He was courteous and professional from beginning/pickup at the airport to the end on delivery a week later back to the airport. Janus had our name on a sign after we exited baggage claim and were taken to his awaiting vehicle. Others on arrival either had to wait on the bus or find there on transportation. We were offered water and taken on a safe journey to our resort. This was done safely and he explained the route and other details as they occurred.

Thanks Janus for making our trip one of the best ever.
